Being history teachers it was a sublime experience to visit the medieval villages, the bay of Rethymnon, the Military Museum and the two watchtowers. The cobbled streets and the washed houses made us feel as if we travelled back in time. We also rented a car and visited neighboring villages. The villa owner was very helpful and made us feel like family.

Excellent holiday for us, we are glad we booked it! At the time of year we stayed we did not get to use the pool (a heated pool would be nice but before booking the villa we knew there was no heating option).
Our holiday was perfect! This villa was exactly as in the pictures on the website. My husband and I have rented villas several times before in Europe and the US, this was the first time using Beach Villas but most definitely not the last ?Y?S

We stayed at the end of August on Crete and booked the house 11 days. The house with 2 floors is very nicely furnished and you have everything to feel comfortable. It is very clean in the house and are nicely maintained and are constantly cleaned. The manager on site came every 3 days and cleaned the house and for the pool and the garden came every day. All in all a very nice holiday a wonderful view of the sea. The place is quite high up on the mountain in front of Maroulas. In the vicinity there are some very beautiful taverns with a wonderful view. You should definitely visit one of the nearby cathedral-Thavma-Phantasticos. For us as a big animal lover was however a sad taste. Best thanks and you a beautiful vacation on the beautiful island of Crete.

We had a wonderful week and were very impressed with the villa. The woman who cleaned it lived opposite and was very friendly and helpful we particularly appreciated the fresh eggs on our arrival, The villa was clean and very well equipped and the garden and pool area were beautifully kept. The description was very accurate and the travel information before hand was much appreciated.

We had a fantastic holiday in Villa Sevos. Everything was exactly as shown on the web site. The view down to the sea was fabulous the pool was lovely and the local people were very friendly. It was a short but very steep walk up to the village of Maroulas where there were 2 tavernas (our favourite was Katarina) but no general store. We hired a car (the airport transfer from Heraklion was very straightforward with excellent instructions provided by Beach Villas) which was essential for shopping and sightseeing trips but we took taxis to visit Patinias and Rethymno in the evenings for dinner (we used Taxi George Kostogiannis who was always at the villa within 15 minutes of calling). We would recommend the villa to anyone as it was very quiet but within easy reach of the larger towns for dining etc.
