We had a wonderful time at this villa. Our host was excellent and lives only two doors away, so was on hand if needed, she was very friendly and helpful and provided some welcome provisions, as we arrived late at night, which was much appreciated. The villa is beautiful. It is situated in a very quiet residential area with views of the sea. The beach, small supermarket, Ice cream parlour and coffee shops are within walking distance. The villa is very spacious and well equipped. Air conditioning in the bedrooms is adequate and therea€™s a free standing electric fan also in case you do not wish to pay for air conditioning in the downstairs living areas. There is a lime grove immediately next door and pomegranate and fig trees grow very close by. I would say that a car is required if you are staying at this property because it is a little off the beaten track, but we loved this aspect of the property and relished the peacefulness of our stay. The mountain and countryside views are lovely. We would definitely return. We felt very safe here.
We were stunned by just how handsome Villa Charianna actually is, it looked amazing in the photos but its even better when you see it on the spot. This villa definitely deserves a 5***** stars rating. We actually couldnt wait until the sun started to set as the moon made the villa and pool feel so atmospheric. The villa was perfect for our stay it is very well equipped was spotlessly clean and has all the home comforts (dishwasher, washing machine, good water pressure, no shortage of hot water) which you sometimes miss in self-catering accommodation. Outside a spacious and comfortable terrace with a great maintained garden and also a nice pool area with sunbeds and BBQ area. There is an amazing beach within a short walking distance(200m). We will definitely miss the amazing sea views and gorgeous sunsets from the upper terraces/balconies where we mostly enjoyed our evening family gatherings. Overall it couldnt be a better place we had chosen for our vacation. A perfect heaven for a quiet and relaxing family holiday.
If you want a villa in a quiet location with spectacular views then this is the right one for you. The accommodation is spacious and beautifully kept with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. We also had maid service twice during our 12-day stay. In Agia Marina, there are several excellent restaurants. Everywhere we went we were made to feel welcome and everyone was very helpful and polite. Agni Travel made the process of renting the villa easy and detailed. They were in contact with us during our stay to make sure everything was ok which it was. We will definitely be going back in the very near future.
Booked a villa in Kefalonia through this company. Villa Charianna was perfect with absolutely no issues. It was spotlessly clean & well presented. Nice spacious outside area with private pool and terrace and a nice dining area. The sunset and sea views from the upper balconies were breathtaking. Everyone in Agia Marina was extremely helpful and friendly, giving us directions and recommendations for places to visit. We also visited Polis, Argaka, and Latchi and spend a great time there: tasting local food, drinking some of the local wines, swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling, etc. I found Agni to be extremely helpful & they gave us lots of useful information & contact numbers for the local area. Looking forward to booking with them again for next year.
The villa was well furnished and very clean. We will be booking again. There is a good variety of seating areas outside, you can choose sun or shade easily.
Villa Charianna did not disappoint and we would recommend it to anyone, it is clean and well equipped. The villa was clean and tidy and had plenty of character with many nice features. The Seaview was very relaxing and provided nice fresh air. Couldnt fault the villa and....we have just rebooked!
Villa Charianna was everything that we expected, quiet, remote yet a good distance from supermarkets and restaurants. The beds were comfortable, air conditioning in every room, a spacious kitchen, Internet. A comfortable swimming pool. Would definitely look to come back in the future.
The pool and grounds were super. The location was perfect as it was very peaceful with amenities close at hand. Vila is clean, spacious, and with added bonus beautiful backyard with a pool and plenty of space for wonderful meals.
We had a rest at the excellent villa Cherianna. The villa is very nice and spacious, I liked everything! The beds are comfortable, air conditioning in every room, a spacious kitchen, Internet. A comfortable swimming pool. The location of the villa is very convenient, near a shop, a cafe and the city of Polis. A very good hostess, always in touch and consulted on any questions, she cooks very tasty. I recommend you to stay in this villa.
Good location, good amenities, however you still need a car to explore the island. Androula is a very nice host and overall it was a good experience. Thank you Agni Travel.
We had a nice stay in the Villa and a lovely time with our family. You need a car if you want to go to a restaurant.
Truly wonderful villa. Private and secluded, however, just a short walk to the beach. Location was very quite (remote) so a car recommended. Property manager was really friendly; even leaving us a meal for our late night arrival! Couldnt fault the villa and....we have just rebooked!
Had an amazing time at Charianna, beautiful looking villa and fabulous pool. Would definitely need a car as most of the local restaurants were a good 10 minute drive due to the local restaurants being closed. Very relaxing and peaceful location if you can handle cockerels early in the morning. Androulla was very rarely seen but was contactable if needed, any issues were quickly resolved. Would definitely look to come back in the future.
The villa is beautiful and spacious set in a peaceful rural location, everything you need is within a 5\10 minute drive. You do need a car but thats the case everywhere in Cyprus if you want to get the most out of your holiday. Androulla is a great host, everything was so good we didnt really need her much. She has a broken foot yet still nothing was too much for her. Would definitely book with Agni Travel again, their service was faultless. I asked for a late check out at the very last minute and that too was not a problem. I highly recommend this agency, do not hesitate to book with them.
The holiday started with a very welcome pack of milk bread butter tea and many other items including fresh figs oranges and pomegranates all we needed for our morning breakfast after our late arrival. Androulla came to welcome us the next day and brought more fruit and veg. Which she repeated regularly she also made us puddings which were well received and devoured. The villa is spacious and well set out and the pool and outside area was well used by us all. The beach is only a short walk away as is the local shop. There are several very good restaurants close by one in particular is Coast where all the food is freshly made and the staff very friendly.there are several bakery shops nearby for fresh bread and cakes etc. We ate on the beach on several occasions at Santa Barbera who also have an indoor restaurant across the road. Our overall impression of Cypress in general and the area where we stayed was the feeling of safety and friendliness. All In all we had a great time one which we will repeat in the near future. Many thanks from all the family.
Perfect place to stay and relax with a family in Cyprus, nice swimming pool and 300 meters from the beach. Quiet village with incredibly friendly and hospitable people. House with 4 bedrooms up to 8-9 sleeps. Is near Polis 45 minutes from Paphos but enough to be explored nearby water sports in Latchi nature walks in hills behind village or in Akamas some culture in Polis - Marion local restaurants. Come here for some culture nature sun relaxing sport fun, do not come here for nightlife or shopping. The owner (Androulla) does everything to make you feel at ease but she is absolutely not too present. We enjoyed the house very much.
We have had the pleasure of staying in a stunning country in a beautiful villa with an amazingly attentive (but not over bearing) hostess Androulla. Agni Travel were fantastic in their communications with us. Villa Charianna is the most restful villa that we have stayed in with only the sound of the sea in the distance birds and the occasional cockerel. The villa was spotless. The kitchen was very well equipped. Androulla left a selection of food items for us on our arrival until we could get to the large supermarket in Polis. We were extremely grateful for this as we arrived after midnight. The pool was clean and refreshing a very welcome facility. The villa is not overlooked neither is the pool area and therefore very private. A large mandarin orange grove runs down the side by the pool. Plenty of seating outside.Pool towels are required as stated. The air conditioning was extra cost but necessary in the bedroom and we were very happy to pay for this facility. A car is essential we ate in various locations both in Latchi, Polis and locally. We hired boats and off road buggies as if we were teenagers not newly retired people. We visited the Troodos Mountains and Mt.Olympus the views will remain with us forever. Cedar Valley stunning. We would most definitely return to villa Charianna or one of its sister villas. Androulla is a credit to Agni Travel being passionate about her work in hosting guests and a clear dedication to making our stay the very best that it could be. Thank you Agni and Androulla. Description was very accurate. Androulla works very hard to ensure that any issues are resolved quickly this she did when we reported concerns or problems to her.
All in all the holiday was lovely. Androulla is a real asset friendly and informative. She even made us some of the local Cypriot sweetmeats called Loumades which were delicious and we were bowled over by her kindness. There is only one restaurant within walking distance called Mercini with a very limited but deliciously freshly cooked menu and Eleni (the owner) is a delight she loves to practice her English with her tourist customers. A short drive to Argaka provides a bigger but not extensive choice of eating places we loved Lizas Place where we went for breakfast and dinner on a few occasions however I would give Santa Barbara a miss indifferent food and service but in a super location. Fifteen to twenty minute drive into Latchi worth doing during the day and at night for a bigger dining choice. We prefer Cypriot food choices to English ones which we can have when not on holiday. The pool at the villa I thought would be too small but it was perfectly adequate unless you are a serious swimmer however the sea was so warm and safe for those who want a more strenuous workout. The beaches are not pristine but we were delighted to see turtles nests being protected all along the coast. The pier at Limni bay (between Polis and Argaka) is super for jumping from into the sea. Plenty for us oldies to do but if it is nightclubs you need then this is not the place for you.
We had a lovely holiday at Villa Charianna and the owner Androulla was very helpful and welcoming.
Superb. Just what we wanted. This location is far enough away from the hubbub of tourism. A real find. You are surrounded by locals. Cypriots are the friendliest of people. Warm welcoming and cannot do enough for you. Beautiful Villa. Excited about revisiting next year. Androulla who looks after the Villa is a Cypriot and a real ambassador for the island. I cannot sing her praises enough. What a dedicated and marvel she is. A real credit. If you're looking for a bit of peace and quite in beautiful surroundings with amenities nearby enough to satisfy your shopping eating requirements then this Villa is highly recommended.
Amazing time, beautiful villa, wonderful views! Androulla was extremely attentive, nothing was too much trouble. She went above and beyond!
Villa was very good a lot of space for our big family 9 persons. The Agni team are brilliant at keeping you up to date with your holiday. Many thanks.
It was a lovely place. Very clean and spacious. Very good beds and everything we needed was there. On our arrival the owner had left a few things in the fridge which we were very grateful for. We met Androulla the next day. She is a lovely lady who has found the right balance between being welcoming and there for you when you need her but at the same time respecting your privacy. She goes above and beyond what one would expect from a house owner. In terms of location you do need a car to go to places. We found the village a bit too limited in terms of what it had to offer as we like to walk to restaurants and shops etc. But with a car you are a short distance away from all that. All in all a lovely week in a lovely house with lovely views and a lovely host.
Great villa - lovely owner - and lots of great communication from Agni travel throughout - really impressed!
The villa was a very very nice place to call home for 2 weeks. Androulla the owner came around the odd day to check on us. If there was an issue then she would sort it out straight away(one day the water stopped working). 10 mins ride to Polis 15 mins to Latcchi harbour where you can enjoy boat trips and its about 45 mins drive to Paphos Coral bay. I would definitely use this villa again if i was going back to the same area of Cyprus.
We had another wonderful holiday in Villa Charianna. This was our third visit as we know how wonderful the villa is how Androulla welcomes us as part of the extended family and how well Agni Travel support us in the background. We love to go back for the tranquility and warm welcome we receive from the Cypriot people. Androulla is like an old friend and this year we were particularly honored to be her guests at a local village wedding with her sisters and family making us so welcome. The traditional Sunday lunch Androulla made us before our departure was exquisite. The memories of the wedding, the dancing and the fireworks will remain with us for ever as will the delicious smells and taste of the special food cooked for us. Thank you all again.
Overall the Villa Charianna was a lovely place to stay plenty of room and such a quiet non touristy location. Agni were great providing enough information but without interfering. Amazing Thank you
Overall the Villa Charianna was a lovely place to stay plenty of room and such a quiet, non-touristy location. Agni Travel were great, providing enough information but without interfering. Amazing, Thank you.
Lovely holiday, lovely island, beautiful property!
We loved it. Lots of space & very comfortable. By car easy access to supermarket beaches and port. The owner was very friendly and attentive. Villa matches the description. Large comfortable house with 4 large bedrooms. There is a kitchen with dishwasher washing machine dryer. All bedrooms offer beautiful views of the sea and the Mandarin garden. In the garden pool with sun loungers dining table and Parking.
Had a very good time. Beautiful villa and landlady very hospitable.
We had an excellent time in this outstanding Villa exceeding our expectations. The owner has been very kind and ready to solve any problem we could have had (we didn't at all).
We had a really good family holiday which was due to the excellent villa and the owner who was very welcoming and accommodating. The village was as we expected in early May, quiet and peaceful with a good taverna and bar with the beach all but a 10 minute walk. The brochure provided an accurate description however we were still overwhelmed by the shear size of Charianna. It provided us with all the space we needed and more. The property was well maintained and very clean, we had absolutely no issues or problems with the villa.
Excellent.
Great holiday and good location.
Villa was simple to find from the comprehensive directions supplied. Aiya Marina is a fair distance from the holiday centres of western Cyprus which was what we wanted - it might be an issue if you wanted to be surrounded by restaurants etc.We found this a good base to get up into the Troodos mountains while being close to the beach. The villa itself is spacious with masses of storage space for your clothes and 4 good sized bedrooms. You will need to supply your own washing up liquid toilet paper etc as these are not provided but all towels are (including beach towels) which is good. Locals were all friendly and happy to provide advice although this far from the holiday centres not everyone has good English. Even when they dont you can usually communicate using sign language and patience - or learn some Greek yourselfIn conclusion a nearly perfect place to be if you want to be away from it all.
The villa was stunning spotless and spacious. The views of the sea from the upstairs balcony were much better than the photos.Ayia Marina is a small village on the coast with a small supermarket and traditional bakery nearby. The church is very pretty, I attended the Sunday service and was made to feel very welcome. Androulla (the owner) invited me to go with her and meet her family afterwards. I was welcomed with a traditional Cypriot breakfast and coffee it was all delicious, especially the bread and cheese home made by Androullas mother. The coast at Ayia Marina is rocky and very deep only suitable for confident swimmers. the water is crystal clear though and warm. We shopped mostly in Polis where there is a very good supermarket with lots of choice. There is a pedestianised restaurant area with plenty of options for all budgets.I would recommend visiting Aphrodites Baths and walking along the Arkamas Peninsula you can hire boats from Latchi to access the secret coves and go snorkelling and diving. We also visited the monestary at Kykkos. Its a long drive as you have to stick to the main roads the smaller roads are rocky tracks only suitable for four wheel drive vehicles. The views are spectacular. Access the the church is free and there is a small charge for the museum. There are several souvenir shops there which are reasonably priced and a couple of tavernas. Pafos is more busy as you would expect head to Kato Pafos for free parking and a visit to the mosaics. The entry fee is only a few euros. Leave your car there and walk along the harbour for plenty of restaurants. The municipal beach has really good facilities changing rooms toilets and showers. The sea is very calm although in places becomes very deep.I would recommend Villa Charianna and Agni Travel but most of all I would recommend Androulla (the owner). She was so welcoming friendly and kind.
We really enjoyed the Villa and the facilities and the owner was a great help and very hospitable. The cleaner was also very efficient and the holiday exceeded expectations. I also have to add that the service from start to finish from Agni travel both in the UK and on sight was excellent and we will recommend and definately use again...thanks
Excellent holiday. Lovely villa. Very much appreciated the texts from Agni travel throughout our stay. Made us feel welcome. The owner was lovely and very helpful. A problem we had when there was a power cut and the water was not working was very rapidly resolved. Would definitely use Agni Travel again and stay at the same villa. Thanks very much to everyone who made our holiday so successful.Kind regardsJulie Kennedy
